Hand sanitizer fueled a warehouse fire at a chemical plant in Brazil.

Fire erupted Thursday night at a chemical plant making alcohol hand sanitizer in Indaiatuba, Brazil.

At 6:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a burning product warehouse on site. Fortunately, no other exposures were at risk, Globo News reports.

Fueled by the sanitizer, the fire lasted more than two hours. Firefighters used nearly 40,000 liters of water to fight the blaze.

Firefighters remained on the scene until dawn Friday.

No injuries were reported in the blaze.
