Strong winds hindered firefighters working to control an outdoor fire Saturday at a paper recycling plant in Cipolletti, Argentina.

At about noon fire broke out in a bin at Sanovo Greenpack, a company that makes egg cartons and other paper products using molded pulp, local media report. Flames towering meters high above the refuse were spread by the strong winds.

Homes near the facility were also threatened by fire as the wind scattered sparks through dry wildland nearby. Homeowners used buckets filled with water to protect their property.

No injuries were reported. No cause for the fire has been determined.
