Two outdoor tanks containing liquid glue caught fire Thursday night at a manufacturing plant in northern New Jersey.

At about 11:40 p.m., a security guard at Holland Manufacturing in Succasunna reported the fire. Responders arrived to find heavy fire rising from two above-ground liquid storage tanks, local media report.

The fire was elevated to two-alarm status, drawing mutual aid responders from Roxbury and other surrounding departments. Hindering the response was high wind and rains in the area.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze within an hour. Both tanks were destroyed.

Holland Manufacturing makes adhesive tape among other products. The tanks contained a hot melt adhesive used by the company.

Damages have been estimated at $100,000, local media report.
