Fire Breaks Out at Cleaning Products Plant in New Jersey

Two firefighters suffered heat exposure requiring treatment after battling a fire Tuesday at a manufacturing plant in Hillsborough, New Jersey, local media report.

At about 1:40 p.m. firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from the roof of Reckitt & Benckiser, a company manufacturing house cleaning products. A mutual aid request brought firefighters from surrounding fire departments as well.

The fire was declared under control at about 3:40 p.m.
