A fire at an ammunitions plant Saturday is visible over the hills of Khartoum.

A devastating fire swept through a warehouse at an ammunition factory Friday in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, local media reports.
The fire broke out at the El Shajara Industrial Complex. Firefighters operating under Sudanese Civil Defence were able to contain the fire to the warehouse without further damage to the factory,
No injuries were reported. However, the fire did cause a panic among residents living near the factory.
Reportedly, the fire coincided with a fireworks display conducted in another part of Khartoum.
