Fire damaged the interior of a closed metal treatment plant Tuesday night in southeast Brazil, local media report.

At about 7 p.m., witnesses noticed flames at the former Super Zinco plant in Campinas, Sao Paulo. Three fire trucks responded to the scene to battle the blaze.

Firefighters worked 90 minutes to achieve extinguishment.

The plant, which specialized in chrome baths for metal parts, closed four years ago. A previous fire did extensive damage in April 2018.

No injuries were reported in the recent fire.
