Flames broke out inside a candy factory Wednesday in Mexico City, local media report. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were forced to tear down protective bars on the windows to enter the Dulce Maria candy factory and directly attack the fire. The factory is located on Calzada de Tlalpan, an avenue that connects the center of the city with its southern zone.
Authorities suspect an electrical short circuit as the cause of the fire.
