A large fire sparked at an oil refinery Tuesday in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in the Khabarovsk region of far eastern Russia, a spokesperson for ROSNEFT reports.
No injuries were reported. Production continues at the refinery despite the fire.
The blaze broke out in a secondary unit of the Komsomolsk refinery which processed 7.23 million tons of oil in 2019. PJSC Rosneft Oil is a state-owned integrated energy company headquartered in Moscow.
In March 2019, a massive fire forced an evacuation at the same refinery.
