A mobile crane collapsed across the roof of a pharmaceutical plant in Espoo, Finland, Friday morning with no injuries reported.

Orion Pharmaceuticals issued a press release stating that a demolition project to remove structures atop the plant building was in progress. Despite the damaged roof, the collapse did not affect production at the plant.

Local publication Vertikal reports that the crane landed above the canteen and recreational areas at Orion. Responders treated the crane operator for shock, but he was physically unharmed.

Apparently the ground gave way beneath the crane’s outriggers, causing the collapse. The plant fire brigade remediated a hazmat spill involing liquid coolant leaking from the wrecked crane.
