The latest in a rash of recent Iranian industrial fires happened Sunday when an explosion shook a petrochemical complex in the southwest part of the country.

An oil leak ignited in a fire at the Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company in Mahshar that was extinguished within 10 minutes, Iran’s official news agencies report. No casualties or sizable financial loss was reported.

Preceding weeks have seen explosions at an Iranian military complex, a medical clinic near the capital, a nuclear development facility and a factory in Tehran.
