Fire crews in Regina battled a fire at an outdoor compound north of Evraz Steel that started July 27. Crews were there until Wednesday morning putting out hot spots.
Firefighters encountered 130 tons of steel inside the furnace at max temperature (300 degrees Fahrenheit) and had to wait for the metal to cool down before entered to battle the blaze.
